Once upon a time there was a little, venturesome girl called Io. She heard of the mysterious Gem Trail, a road many children have taken before her, and wanted to see what it was like for herself.
She set off early in the morning along a road that turned out to be surprisingly bumpy. There were stones everywhere and not even one looked like a gem. Heaps of useless, grey stones were not what she had expected! However, very soon on the side of the road she spotted a small, round, milky object.
